Literally hundreds of thousands of people will want to know that they are guaranteed accommodation during the Olympics, and thousands of spectators will be disappointed in trying to find accommodation as the games approach. We are marketing CapitalPlacesToStay.co.uk in all countries around the world.
Q: I run a Bed and Breakfast/ Hotel - how much does it cost to register a commercial property? A: The cost is £19.99 for a commercial property. This will include a link to your website and associated advertising.
Q: Can I place a picture of my property on the site? A: Yes - you can upload up to three pictures and you can email more pictures to enquirers too.
These pictures should have a file size of no more than 250Kb otherwise the system may reject them. Usually photos taken using the lowest resolution setting on a digital camera or mobile phone are perfectly adequate for the web.
Q: Do you vet visitors in any way? A: CapitalPlacesToStay.co.uk is an advertising board only; just like other advertising websites, we cannot make any guarantee about the type of visitors you will attract. The contract is between you and the visitor. If you have any concerns, we recommend asking your visitor for a deposit or credit card number up-front, and refusing any applications that appear suspicious. Q: How much should I charge - per person, per room, or property? A: We can't advise specifically about rates, but look for similar properties in your area and set your rates accordingly.
